1. Controller

Michaeil, registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce under number 77916964, is the controller for the personal data processed through our services.

2. Data we collect

We only process data that is necessary for coaching and communication.

• Identification and contact details such as name, e-mail address, phone number and location.
• Information about your smoking behaviour, motivation and goals that you choose to share during intake or sessions.
• Administrative data including invoices and payment status.
• Technical data (e.g. IP address, device, language settings) when you use our website or digital environment.

3. Purposes & legal bases

We use your data to:

• prepare and deliver the coaching programme;

• communicate about appointments, progress and aftercare;

• handle billing, administration and legal obligations;

• evaluate and improve our services (using anonymised analytics).

Processing takes place on the basis of your consent and/or because it is necessary for the performance of the agreement.

4. Sharing with third parties

We do not share your data with third parties unless required to execute the agreement (e.g. collaborating care professionals) or to comply with legal obligations.

Where we engage processors, we sign data processing agreements covering security and confidentiality.

5. International services

We work with participants inside and outside the European Economic Area. If data is stored or processed outside the EU, we ensure suitable safeguards such as adequacy decisions or EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

6. Retention periods

We retain personal data only as long as necessary:

• administration and tax records: up to 7 years;

• coaching records: up to 24 months after completion, unless longer retention is required by law or you consent to extended follow-up.

7. Security

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures — including encrypted storage, restricted access and regular reviews — to protect your data against loss, misuse or unauthorised access.

8. Your rights

You have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Right of access, rectification or erasure.
• Right to restriction of processing or to object to processing.
• Right to data portability.
• Right to withdraw consent at any time.

9. Cookies & analytics

Our website only uses functional and anonymous analytical cookies to monitor performance and security. We do not use marketing trackers.
